I find furniture pieces in re-sale shops & sometimes left on the street with “Free” signs on them.

The rocking chair is a steel Simmons chair from the 20s or 30s. I left the rust on the frame after cleaning off paint scuff marks then did clear coat to seal it. I replaced the worn out cloth seat with raw leather that I stretched over the seat frame that was intact.

The Ticket Box from the Deco period was found a couple of blocks from my house. It was left outside for many years so it had rust & was painted all black. I stripped all the black paint & repainted the base & left the top the cast aluminum. The base I clear coated after sanding.
